Featured Project

Sorei

Sorei is an original storytelling project combining visual design, compositing, editing, generated assets, and narrative experimentation into a cinematic world-building process.

Project Focus

World-building, visual tone, story structure, and hybrid workflows used to support a distinctive cinematic experience.

Project overview

Sorei exists at the intersection of film language, edited narrative, composited atmosphere, and emerging creative workflows. It serves as both a creative project and a proof of concept for what hybrid visual production can become when it remains guided by story.

  • Visual design and compositing
  • Editing and pacing as narrative structure
  • Generated assets integrated into a larger art direction
  • Experimental development notes and iterative world-building

The current Sorei uploads are catalogued here, while the main project site and channel remain the best external entry points for the world, brand, and ongoing updates.

Project-related moving pieces.

These current uploads now render here directly with embedded playback, while still fitting into the broader studio archive when viewed from the Work page.

Visual Language

Concept art, shape studies, and atmosphere work

Sorei already carries a broader body of concept material. This page keeps the public set focused while the world is revealed in deliberate pieces.

Characters

Character sheets and council presence

Character identity, council presence, and stronger visual framing already exist behind the scenes. Public releases can stay selective without losing the shape of the world.

Current Stage

Enough to feel the world, not enough to flatten the mystery

The aim is to establish tone, voice, and intent without flattening the mystery. Each release can deepen the world while keeping the public layer clear and cinematic.

Screens

Selected frames from the world.

A focused set of stills, atmosphere studies, and character passes that show how Sorei is taking visual shape.

Sorei world study with layered environment and atmosphere
World study: a broader frame of Sorei's visual tone and environment language.
Sorei cinematic atmosphere concept frame
Atmosphere study: a second visual pass supporting mood, light, and story tension.
Sorei character-facing concept frame with stronger silhouette and identity cues
Character-facing study: a more intimate pass on identity, framing, and presence inside the world.
Guardian character design concept two
Guardian study II: another pass on identity, presence, and tone.
Guardian character design concept eight
Guardian study VIII: a stronger heroic composition for later story-facing reveals.
Why Keep It Selective

Protecting the shape of the world matters.

The world already extends beyond what is shown here. Keeping the public layer selective lets each reveal carry weight instead of turning the whole project into an asset dump.

This page is built to expand with intention: more studies, more scenes, and sharper glimpses into the world as each piece earns its place.

Development Notes

How the project is being shaped

Sorei is being built through a hybrid process that combines editing, compositing, generated image exploration, interface design, sound direction, and world-building. The goal is not novelty for its own sake, but a coherent emotional language that can hold up across stills, motion, and interactive spaces.

Every public piece has to do more than look good. It has to reinforce tone, protect the larger reveal, and make the world feel authored rather than assembled.
